Julie Matthews

Julie Matthews joined SafetyNet in June 2005 as a Research Assistant. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Science in Occupational Biomechanics from the University of New Brunswick. She has been a part of several projects at SafetyNet including Forestry OHS, Safecatch: Perceptions of Risk, and Seafood Processing Occupational Health. Julie is currently working towards a Ph.D. in Community Health, Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University studying participatory ergonomics in forestry. Her committee exists of Dr. Rick Audas from the faculty of Medicine, Dr. Scott MacKinnon from the School of Human Kinetics and Recreation, and Dr. Shirley Solberg from the School of Nursing.
