Atlantic Network for Forestry Health, Safety, and Ergonomics

About Us

The Atlantic Network for Forestry Health, Safety, and Ergonomics is a forestry-specific sub-network of the Atlantic Network for Research in Workplace Health.

Formed in 2005, the Atlantic Network for Research in Workplace Health (ANRWH) is an interdisciplinary and intersectoral network of researchers, trainers, clinicians, practitioners, industry partners, policy makers and regulators interested in workplace health and safety.

The goal of ANRWH is to help its members work together to increase awareness of the region’s capacities and gaps in workplace health, to develop strategies for building on these capacities and filling these gaps, and to produce real improvements in training and research across the region.

ANRWH was established by SafetyNet as part of its work with the Atlantic Network for Prevention Research (ANPR) (http://preventionresearch.dal.ca/default.php).

Funding for this website is provided by ANPR and SafetyNet (CIHR initiatives).
